JOB DESCRIPTION:

Perform system administrative tasks for UNIX, Linux, and legacy mainframe platforms.

Examine operational requirements and identify areas where changes can be made to equipment or operational procedures to improve the performance of mission systems, equipment availability, and utilization.

Perform troubleshooting of systems and correction of discrepancies. Determine corrective actions and prepare recommendations to aid in the solution of problems.

Administer and review system backups to ensure data is correctly backed up; perform system restorations from systems backups.

Follows the design process to provide complete IT Solutions, including hardware, software, configuration, process based on collaboration and analysis with stakeholders, industry best practice, and best value solutions.

Uses root cause analysis, corrective actions, tactical planning, and strategic planning to correct problems, provide an improved response, and project long term investments required to provide sufficient support for the business.

Ability to manage or participate in complex issues impacting the infrastructure.

Advanced knowledge of server including Linux, windows server, VMware ESX, VCLOUD in all areas (examples: configuration, tuning, capacity management, security, compliance, monitoring, automation, support, client relationships, and other areas).

Monitoring Servers/Networks and fixing/escalating issues, Load balancers, Ticket Routing, Live Call Escalation, User Account Maintenance, Provide basic technical assistance and support for incoming queries directly or by escalation.

Prepare a software environment for new projects to include creating user packs and validating/testing of resources.

Manage all system accounts, file architecture, and configuration management.

Assist users and operators on day-to-day issues.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Excellent foundation knowledge on Linux systems including Mail Servers, MTA (send mail, Qmail, Postfix) DNS Server, Spam Filter, Proxy, FTP, NFS, SAMBA, DHCP, DNS, LAMP, LEMP, Apache, NGINX, Shell scripting.

Possess excellent Communication skills, should work in Productive teams.

QUALIFICATION:

B.E/B.Tech, M.E/M.Tech, BCA, MCA. Candidates with relevant work experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Handling of sales enquires, that include of sourcing, analyzing costs and sales, prepare quotations, follow up on sales enquiries.

To support outdoor sales, by achieving sales target.

Communicating with local & overseas suppliers and customers, developing long term relationship.

Searching for new potential customer who might benefit from company's products and/or services and maximizing potential clientele in designated regions.

Assist in planning and execute marketing activities, Eg: Trade / sales presentation / product demonstration as required.

Responsible for telemarketing and expand the client base.

Coordinating with clients on services and rates negotiation.

Source for potential customers and handle sales enquiries via phone, emails etc.

Ensure sales opportunities are maximized.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Support marketing activities through planning, organization, and implementation of market research to obtain data that gives information regarding consumer preferences and market trends

Should possess full knowledge of Sixth Star Technologies values and employ this knowledge in product marketing operations.

Contacting potential customers through cold calls, emails or office visits in order to create awareness for products and improve sales.

Establish and maintain good rapport with clients and ensure customer relationship is maintained to reduce clientele attrition.

As part of their duties, provide support to their Senior Managers in the development of pricing strategies; they help them carry out studies to determine product/service price most affordable to consumers and profitable to company.

Interpret data obtained from market research/survey to produce results useful in taking effective business decisions.

Carry out demographic surveys to identify potential customers.

Bear the responsibility of organizing promotional events or advertising as part of marketing strategies.

Prepare and present regular reports to superiors on marketing activities and results of implemented plans.

Maintain record of proposals and accounts, and occasionally attend conference to improve on existing knowledge.

Handle and respond to existing product queries from clients quickly, effectively and accurately.
