This area is used to configure and maintain the remote servers, buckets, and volumes that are used to store the goods available in Carbonio CE (e-mails, documents, and so on).

By pressing the CREATE + button, a new bucket may be added to the list. You may enter all of the information required to set up and test communication with the distant bucket in the initial dialogue, including the URL and access credentials. Then, move to the Data Volumes step below to build volumes in the bucket.
In the Server Details section, you may choose a server, examine its already utilised volumes, allocate new ones, and lastly specify HSM rules.
Following the selection of the server, the volumes it is presently using, as well as a few specified settings, are displayed. Click the NEW VOLUME button to add a new Volume.
In the first tab of the dialogue box, enter the essential information about the new volume: allocation type, name, and path.
The second tab is determined by the allocation:
Local: determine if this is a main, secondary, or index volume and the path on which to mount it; next, if required, set a compression threshold; and lastly, determine whether this will become the new current volume.
Select the kind of Object Storage and a prefix to identify the volume (main, secondary, or index volume). This volume can be marked as Centralised, which is beneficial if it will be shared by numerous servers.
HSM settings are policies that automate the processing of mailstore objects such as e-mails, documents, contacts, and events.
HSM Policies can be scheduled to run automatically at predetermined times and days; following this operation, deduplication can be enabled to conserve space in the case of duplicated things by maintaining just one copy of an item.

The dialogue that appears after clicking the NEW VOLUME button lets you to quickly define a new HSM policy.
